A former plumber, Colin Furze now creates amazing inventions and world record beating vehicles from the un-safety of his shed. His YouTube channel has over 11 million subscribers and billions of views and, in addition to vlogging, he has also appeared on Sky 1's Gadget Geeks.

Colin has won four Guinness World Records for his inventions: the largest bonfire, the longest motorcycle, the fastest speed on a mobility scooter and the fastest pram. He has also won a Webby Award for his hover-bike video.

His first book, This Book isn't Safe! (Puffin) contains ten inventions which can be made at home with a basic toolkit to inspire a new generation of creativity and sheds some behind-the-scenes light on what goes into his projects.

When he's not inventing or becoming a D.I.Y superhero, Colin lives with his partner, son and daughter in Stamford.
