Heather is a ghostwriter, freelance journalist and TV producer. To date, she has ghostwritten 16 books including a series of Sunday Times top ten best-selling fostering memoirs with Maggie Hartley. Other titles include Those Who Can, Teach (Bloomsbury) with the ‘world’s best teacher’ Andria Zafirakou, Unplugged Parenting (Headline Home) with prominent child psychologist Dr Elizabeth Kilbey and Up in the Air (Simon & Schuster) with 1960s Pan Am air stewardess Betty Riegel. 

Heather has been a journalist for more than 20 years. She was features editor on a best-selling women’s magazine and has written, edited and commissioned stories for a variety of national newspapers and magazines including the Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, The Express, The Sun, Grazia, Fabulous, Marie Claire, Best, Bella and Take a Break. She is also a freelance TV producer at Good Morning Britain, working across the news and planning desks. 

Over her career she has interviewed inspirational people from all walks of life and has covered everything from high profile court cases to every human interest story that you can possibly imagine. She loves capturing her author’s voices and helping them to bring their extraordinary stories to life on the page.
