Veronica Henry

Veronica Henry is the Sunday Times bestselling writer of over twenty books. As an Army child, she went to eleven schools then studied Latin at Bristol University.  She began her career as a production secretary on The Archers, then worked as a script editor on Crossroads and Boon before becoming a scriptwriter.  She wrote for many broadcasting legends including Heartbeat, Doctors and Holby City.  Her eleventh novel, A Night On The Orient Express (Orion) was written while she was the Venice Orient Express writer in residence in 2013, and won her The Romantic Novelists Association's Romantic Novel of the Year. 

Veronica lives on the North Devon coast, which is the setting for her Quick Read, A Sea Change, which promotes reading for adults throughout the UK. The beach hut she rents every summer also inspired her novels The Beach Hut, The Beach Hut Next Door, Christmas at the Beach HutA Wedding at the Beach Hut and A Day at the Beach Hut, a collection of eight original short stories and over fifty delicious seaside-inspired recipes.
