Kate gained a Bachelor of Music degree with Composition major from King’s College London. She then studied Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music, where she was recently made Associate (ARAM) for her work in music. She was the 2018-19 Cameron Mackintosh Resident Composer at Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith. Kate is the Founder of Modulate, a platform and initiative for female-identifying composers for the UK stage, addressing gender balance in the industry. Kate is also an actor & singer. Her credits include War Horse (West End) and The Human Comedy (Young Vic).
