Simon designed the acclaimed ‘Pie Shop’ production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street (off-Broadway - Barrow Street Theatre) where his designs were nominated for the 2017 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Set Design of a Musical. His designs for Black Men Walking (Eclipse, UK tour) were selected to represent the UK at the 2019 Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and at the V&A Museum.
