Bettany Hughes’ new series, Treasures of the World, has started, with weekly episodes airing on Sunday nights at 8pm on Channel 4. Bettany takes viewers on armchair travels to explore household-name treasures and new finds from across the world in an epic 5-part series – from Greece, Malta and Gibraltar to the Mediterranean and Istanbul.
