Chris Riddell and Emily Gravett are two of many fantastic creatives who are contributing to Pop Up Projects’ most recent charitable programme: Children for Change.
Pop up Projects’ Children for Change aims to educate and inspire children across the country to be eco-aware and want to produce a better world. Chris and Emily are joined by the likes of Malorie Blackman, Axel Scheffler and others with a compendium of work that intends to encourage children to see the possibilities for change and action with regards to the climate emergency. The scheme describes the anthology as:
“a ‘positive manifesto’ for the future of our planet. Looking beyond climatic events and veering away from apocalyptic dystopias, it takes a motivational approach: we want the readers of Children For Change to take action, wherever and however they can. To be activists, within their own sphere of influence.”
With the help of crowdfunding, Children for Change will publish a free digital anthology so that it can reach every primary school in the UK and into children’s homes. The crowdfunder also plans to publish a physical, limited gift edition of this anthology which pledgers can get for their donations.
We cannot wait to see what Chris and Emily create for this fantastic cause which you can learn more about here.
