Announcement! Paleoanthropologist Ella Al-Shamahi’s new podcast series ‘Why Do We Do That? An Anthropologist’s Guide To The Modern World’, is out today at 2:45pm. Listen to the first five episodes as Ella dives into the cultural, historical and evolutionary story of our species to investigate the origins of some familiar everyday habits. She’ll be exploring questions such as why we kiss, procrastinate, do risky things, feel physical pain after a break-up and will be joined by some brilliant guests throughout the series. She’ll be joined by some brilliant guests along the way such as Clara Amfo in the first episode, Professor Laurence Steinberg for the second, and Dr. Eva Mishor for her final episode on the anthropological background of handshakes.
