Gabriella Slade & Tracy Borman Join Forces on the NPG Panel on Henry VIII’s Six Queens
Books, Television, Stage
This week, The National Portrait Gallery hosted a panel discussing the six wives of Henry VIII – specifically, on the experience of adapting the biographies of the queens for storytelling in musicals, operas and plays, novels, film and television.
We’re delighted that not one, but two of our clients joined forces on this panel. Tracy Borman, expert historian on the history of the British monarchy, chaired the event; and Gabriella Slade, award-winning costume designer extraordinaire of SIX The Musical, joined the two other fantastic panellists. The panel was inspired by the exhibition Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens.
A wonderful, joyous event – we’re crossing our fingers for many more agency cross-overs in the near future…
