Khurrum Rahman’s ‘East of Hounslow’ nominated for Best Paperback Original by Edgar Awards 2021

Khurrum Rahman’s East of Hounslow has been nominated for Best Paperback Original by the Edgar Allan Poe Awards 2021.

The novel, which is the first in the Jay Qasim trilogy, was nominated for the award by the Mystery Writers of America and the award honours the best in mystery fiction, non-fiction and television published or produced in 2020.

East of Hounslow was first published in the UK in 2018 and was released in the US in July 2020. The novel is a funny, dark and compelling thriller about Jay, a happy-go-lucky small scale dope dealer in West London who gets sucked into a plot that probably will be the death of him…

The winner will be announced on 29th April 2021.
