There aren't many words that can truly describe the beauty of seeing Earth from space. But Space Station Earth attempts to do this, using music and video, to capture the emotion of human spaceflight and exploration. Featuring previously unreleased footage from ESA astronauts and accompanied by a live orchestra, the show creates a unique experience, one that celebrates space and unites the audience, just as exploration unites humankind.'

As described by Tim Peake himself, Space Station Earth is a music event like no other. Created in collaboration with The European Space Agency and award-winning composer Ilan Eshkeri, The Royal Albert Hall was the ideal venue to showcase this awe-inspiring concert on 15th May.

Bringing together the best of music and science, the event featured an exclusive pre-show Q&A with Tim Peake and Ilan Eshkeri, as they discussed how the idea for the show came about. A live band, ensemble and choir then take the audience on the emotional journey of being an astronaut, with stunning visuals show on three high-definition screens.
