Sophie Robinson

Sophie is the undisputed colour queen and tour de force in the interior design industry. Packing the punch of 25 years of experience in interior design, journalism and television, she is on a mission to inspire and help millions to have the confidence to create vibrant, individual, authentic and of course colourful homes.

She has starred as lead judge and interior design expert on smash-hit UK TV shows including Channel 5’s Dream Home Makeovers with Sophie Robinson, BBC’s DIYSOS, The Great Interior Design Challenge and Alan Carr’s Interior Design Masters.

Sophie’s latest venture is her colour workshops and online interior design school, where she de-codes the design process in order to give people the confidence to discover their own sense of style and put an individual stamp on their homes. She keeps her loyal fan base topped up with design inspiration on her popular Instagram account, award winning blog and monthly column for House Beautiful magazine.

Sophie co-hosts the UK’s leading interiors podcast The Great Indoors, which has 30k downloads per week and 120k per month. Sophie is passionate about the transformational power of colour and her motto is “Ban the Beige”!

Sophie lives in rural Sussex with her builder husband Tom, son Arthur and Lucy the dog, who all share their home with Sophie’s Mum Claire who lives in the custom-built annex next door.
