Tim Jackson is a Director and Choreographer based in London. His critically acclaimed work in theatre and opera has been seen in the West End, throughout the UK and internationally. He was recently appointed Creative Associate of The Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch.

​He is staging the upcoming OLIVIER AWARDS (Royal Albert Hall), and this summer will direct a new production of the hit musical KINKY BOOTS by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein. Later in the year he will choreograph Sondheim's MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, directed by Maria Friedman and starring Daniel Radcliffe, at New York Theatre Workshop.

​He is currently Director and Dramaturg on a new play and a new musical, both workshopping in early 2022. He has a passion for new work and has helped develop over 20 musicals. He recently directed two comedies - THE SEASON (for which the writers, Buchan & Barne, won the Stage Debut Award) and TREASURE ISLAND, working on both from first draft through to production.

​Tim's work as a choreographer includes MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG which won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival. The production received the most 5 star reviews in West End history and won Best Musical at the Critics Circle Awards. He choreographed LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at Manchester Royal Exchange which was nominated for Best Musical at the Manchester Theatre Awards and THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE AGED 13¾, which was nominated for a UK Theatre Award. He was nominated for Best Choreographer for PARADE at the BroadwayWorld Awards.

​His staging for television includes three OLIVIER AWARDS Ceremonies, Let's Sing And Dance for COMIC RELIEF and most recently the BBC's NEW YEAR'S EVE midnight celebration watched by over 10million people worldwide.

​Tim trained at Mountview Academy (MA in Performance) and Oxford University (BA in Music).
