Zoë Morgan Chiswick

Screenwriter, Playwright, Director

Zoë Morgan Chiswick is a British writer/director for film, theatre, and video game content.

She has worked in the film industry since 2010 with credits including Harry Potter, Enola Holmes II, The Batman and started making her own work in 2014. Since then she has written and directed numerous short films, short plays and has multiple features in the pipeline. Four short films she wrote and directed have been screened worldwide. Her debut play My Girl was part of Vault Festival 2018 and explored themes of gender equality. She later adapted the play into a short film Mine which she also directed. Three of her plays were included in the 50/50 Gender Equality Festival (Anonymous is a Woman Theatre Company), two of which played at the Pleasance Theatre.

Most recently, Zoë finished writing the female perspective of interactive game Ten Dates (working title) produced by Good Gate Media with creator, Paul Raschid.

Zoë is currently in pre-production on her latest BFI commissioned short, which she is co-writing and directing. Out explores social anxiety under the female gaze, the shoot is scheduled for summer 2022.
