Marc Morris

Dr Marc Morris is a British historian and broadcaster. An expert on the Middle Ages and medieval monarchy/aristocracy, Marc presented the highly acclaimed series Castle for Channel 4 and regularly appears as an expert on history programmes (such as Time Team), television, and radio shows. Marc is an erudite and engaging writer on medieval England. He is the author of the bestselling biography of Edward I, A Great and Terrible King, and Norman Conquest, which explains with the same passion, verve, and scrupulous concern for historical accuracy with which Marc approached Edward I, why the Norman Conquest was the single most important event in English history. His other titles include the bestselling King John and most recently, the Sunday Times bestselling and critically-acclaimed The Anglo-Saxons, an ambitious quest for England’s origins. Beyond this, he has written countless articles for History Magazine, BBC History Magazine, and Heritage Today.
